Foundational Principles
The core of growing a successful business revolves around making thoughtful and responsible decisions rooted in integrity and transparency to drive growth and innovation. These decisions are focused on benefitting both stakeholders and the broader American community.
Our government is the guarantor of our inalienable rights and due process that codifies the United States as the global beacon for freedom and liberty. It is vital we teach politicians how to lead with integrity and with accountability, for the good of the nation and all American people.
The world depends on the leadership and of the United States Armed Forces for global stability of trade, diplomacy, and security. We hold our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and veterans in the highest esteem and depend on them to help complete the mission of the Roden Center for American Leadership.
The Debate Forum
We believe that it is possible to disagree without being disagreeable.
Four times per year, we host Oxford Union-style debates focusing on topics related to American Leadership. These debates feature a formal and structured discussion characterized by adherence to a set of rules, often featuring two opposing teams that vigorously present and defend their arguments on a specific topic.
We typically hold these debates in the format of proposition and opposition. Speakers take turns delivering points to persuade the audience and win their support. The debates are marked by a focus on eloquence, logical reasoning, and the ability to counter opposing arguments effectively.
